Suzune stumbled along the beach, ending up falling forward into the damp sand with a heavy grunt, bleary eyes staring at the ground as he tried to find himself and figure out where he was and what was going on. Everything felt dull and far away, and he couldn't get anything to focus or agree with him no matter how hard he tried. He gave up after a few minutes of trying to get upright, laying down in the cold sand and letting out a warm breath.

The sun came up over the horizon slowly, crawling over the sand until it reached Suzune's face and warmed his skin a bit, bringing him back to reality slowly and warming him. He dug his fingers into the sand as he recalled fragments of the past and let out a pained noise, swallowing hard as he finally rolled onto his back and looked up at the faintly painted sky. "I shouldn't be alive still...."

Ryuu was actually enjoying himself, underwater no less and over night to be precise. He was keeping a weather eye on the gates as he was informed new demons were coming in from Hell and had to see them through, past the watery depths and to the surface. As dawn was breaking, he had time to waste, so a good slow swim was in order. Carrying a pair of old swim trunks in his claws as he slid through the waters, rolling with the rip current and allowing his multiple heads to swirls together, his necks tangling once he got out of the currents, he shook his heads like Cerberus would have, trilling in happiness as his body slid through more calm waters.

Coming closer to the shore, he swore he felt a serpent's presence and peeked four of his heads out from undr the water...spotting a human male on the sand. Ducking under the water again and shifting into his humanoid figure, he slipped the swim trunks on easily, coming up out of the water and towards the shore. It confused him as the person before him smelled more dragon now...but dragons always had that snakey smell to him. Semi-long black hair dropped down his chest in a cascade, his body dripping wet as the drops of ocean water slid between the creases of his lithe muscle tone. Kneeling down, his head tilted, patting the man's shoulder. "Hey...hey man...you okay there?"

Suzune stared up at the other blankly before blinking and letting a slightly blurry face come into his line of sight, confusion overwriting anything else that he was feeling. "Huh? Wait..why are you wet..." He mumbled out, asking though most likely able to take in any information. "Ah..I hear water..we're near water?" He asked, squeezing his eyes shut tight.

"I left and...came here...and now..I don't know what is..happening.." He sighed, clenching and un-clenching his hands slowly as everything regained feeling. "It's so cold here..." He commented, really just babbling on now as he tried to sort his thoughts into a cognitive ball of sanity.

He stayed kneeled beside the other, reaching over and moving his hair from his face gently. He may have been the Gate Keeper of Hell, but the hydra had a heart of gold, concerned for the dragon's state. "Hey you know...I have a place here on the beach, let's get you cleaned up, an' den we can help you fig out what you're gonna do, ya dig?"

Ryuu smiled warmly, helping the male stand, wrapping his arm around the dragon's waist and making the male's arm go around his neck and shoulders. Sand dropping from this guy as he walked him to his beach house, his head turned to speak in that soft voice. "Name's Ryuuzaki. What's yours, dragon man?" he smiled warmly, leading the male up the stairs and into the house.

Suzune was glad to be away from the cold, at least he hoped it meant he would be away from the cold and nodding a bit. Getting up however proved to be more challenging for Suzune, squeezing his eyes shut as the whole world went for a spin. He choked back the sour taste in his mouth, doing his best to not be a hindrance to Ryuuzaki.

"Ah..my name.." he paused, unsure for a moment. "Is Suzune..I think." He gave a vague laugh. "Ryuuzaki? That's a nice name..." he murmured, leaning against the other heavily. "Do you have some water or something...my throat is burning.."

He wasn't exactly sure what to make of this situation, but if he could help someone out, he would. Not the usual for a monster like himself. Usually he'd leave them beached and to whatever would happen to them, but the guy was a dragon, close enough to a serpent for him. He watched Suzune as he introduced himself, chuckling a bit with a nod. He really didn't pay much attention to his name being a compliment, really not getting many of those.

"Ah, yeah, I got drinks. Juices, water, alcohol, soda, whatcha want, man?" he continued to practically carry the other towards the huge bathroom, tiled in marble and a large two person shower and a hot tub on the side of the shower, a large bay window over the tub. "Go ahead and get yourself cleaned up, dude. I can let ya have some clothes. What kind of clothes you wear?"

Suzune moved to sit down in the shower once they were close enough to it, feeling exhausted but regaining energy slowly. "Ah..water...and just regular clothes...it doesn't matter. Something comfortable." He nodded, reaching over slowly and turning on the water, turning it up completely before leaning back against the wall, letting the hot water splash over him and ease him away from the aching cold on the inside.

After he had sat in there until the water ran out, Suzune felt better. At least well enough to stand up on his own and open his eyes, turning off the water and moving his hands to shake the water out of his hair. Things still weren't entirely coherent to him and he was unsure of what happened still, but he was also sure that it would come back to him as he rested more.

Nodding with a slight salute, Ryuu gave the dragon privacy to bathe, thumbing through his clothing in the drawers, in the bedroom beside the bathroom itself. With a firm nod, he tugged out a tank top and a pair of loose cotton pants that simply pulled on, gathering them and placing them on the bed, calling out. "I got your clothes on the bed in here, getting the water for you now!" he smiled a bit as he went to the kitchen, pouring a rather large glass of ice water together, setting it on the marble countertop, in plain view while yawning. Watching over those gates for days on had exhausted the hydra to the point of passing out....in which he did rather quickly. Sitting down on the large couch, his head tipped back and to the side, his eyes fell heavy as he fell asleep, rather boyishly in nature, his hands folded in his lap and mouth closed, eyes rolling under his lids to prove he was completely out.

Suzune sat until the water ran cold before managing to climb out from the shower and weakly dry off, moving to find the clothes and put them on before looking around the place, soon finding the other passed out on the couch and smiling vaguely before finding the water. He emptied and refilled the cup several times before putting it into the sink, slowly starting to feel more and more awake as he got his strength back.
