Every pew In the building was full. No surprise, considering it was a Sunday morning. The benches were lined with sweaty, loud, useless meat suits. His father's 'greatest creations'. Tch. More like mindless and pathetic primates. It made him sick how they carried out war, sin and reckless hate in His name. And even more when they blamed It on Lucifer himself. As if he would waste the time and effort to tell these pitiful creatures to do anything.

Music begins, filling the large hall. The humans begin singing their last song of the Service. All around the young man, the people stand they sing, some louder than others, and some closing their eyes. Shin rolls his eyes as he stays seated, crossing his arms over his chest. There was no way he would participate in such a ritual. Even if his father came down there and told him to.

Even as the child of Angels and flames, he knew he didn't belong in this place. Jinki had sat in the far back of the Cathedral during the service, frowning the entire time. Such misplaced manners of worship always made him detest humans slightly. As if he should have come back to Heaven to sit through the service as things were to begin with. Internally, Shin is thrilled when the song finally ends. The pastor says his final words, and the cattle that follows him begin to leave. He listens to them talk, about their lives and plans for the coming week. sitting there, he could easily pick out about seven of them that would end up sinning by the end of the evening.

Staying in his place as the humans make their leave, he catches the feeling of another in the building. One who was much like himself. Not an angel, but someone who had also 'fallen' in the eyes of his brothers. The young man looks around him for the other, rather curious. He had only been topside for about a Week, so he knew it wasn't someone looking for him.

As the humans file out of the Church, Jinki remains right where he is. He can faintly sense the other in the large space, but decides that it would be better not to acknowledge them at the moment. Better to see if he's caught their attention simply by being there, and if so…figure out a plan from there. If he knew himself well enough, the Phoenix would probably end up running away.

Lucifer's dark eyes land on the other, and a faint smile makes it's way across his lips. The man looked so down and upset. His fall must have been recent. Shin masks his true self as he stands, walking over to the only remaining figure in the hall. "Would you like to have confession, sir? You look like something is deeply bothering you," he sits on the pew in front of the Pheonix, so he doesn't seem threatening. The fallen had no intention of hurting the other , and offers a gentle smile to show it.
